Our History

The rewind reels system was invented by a previous user of other cable reels used in outdoor broadcasting productions.

The idea began forming when Bjorn had to rebuild and service reels that already existed on the market, yet didn’t work properly.  Finding out they were difficult to maneuver, tricky to change the reel to rewind and was far too low in speed ,(some people even missed their flights because of this), there had to be a better solution. Most of these cable reels used ball bearings and could start accidentally unwinding by themselves. Meaning all cables would end up on the floor. On the market at the time there were no space effective reel systems, they needed a support for the center shaft in between every second reel, wasting a lot of space. The idea of an easy, maneuverable and compact design was born.

Since the start in 1998 we have continuously developed and improved the products and production, resulting in the high quality reels we produce today. They have held cables used to broadcast the Olympic Games, Eurovision Song Contest, Champions League, the football and hockey world cups and so much more.
